We meet at 10:30am every Sunday at The Gathering Place in Clarksville, MD.

Praise & Worship

Our Sunday morning services typically begin with a time of celebration in song. We find that music is a powerful way to connect with God. Each week, the Oak Ridge Worship Team leads us with scripture, prayer and songs by contemporary Christian artists like Chris Tomlin, Hillsong United, Paul Baloche, Matt Redman, David Crowder Band, Casting Crowns, Mercy Me, Jeremy Camp, Third Day, Desperation Band, Kari Jobe and more.

Teaching

Our services also include a time of teaching by one of our pastors. Check the front page for info on our current teaching series. We make all of these messages available online via our sermon player. We also recently started keeping resources available for past teaching series, where you can find not only the audio, but sermon notes and discussion questions as well.

Childcare

If you have children, please feel free to drop them off at our Children’s Church or Nursery when you arrive. Or if you prefer, include them in our time of praise and worship before Sunday school classes begin at 11:15 a.m.

Get Involved

Oak Ridge is a body, and the parts of the body are all important in contributing to the whole. It takes a lot of effort from a lot of people to make our Sunday mornings run well and allow us all to be encouraged, lifted up and refreshed by the time that we spend together with God. We have ministry teams that do everything from setting out chairs & coffee to music to our technical team (sound/media/lights/etc) and all sorts of things in between.
