Friday, May 11- Mother's Day Event at the CPC, 1:00 pm
The mothers at the Pregnancy Center don't often get "celebrated" for being a mom, so lets give them a special day to feel honored for their very important role. Their children will be there, and your kids are welcome too. We need volunteers to help bring food, drinks, crafts, and a gift items to make this a special day. Sign up here.
The Spenard family has hosted 16 high school exchange students over 13 years. They have become part of our family and our hearts. Now we want to add another member, this time through adoption of an older child. Oak Ridge Community Church is partnering with the Spenards in the outreach to others to share God's love in support of this fundraising event.
Please join us for an evening of food and fun featuring talented local musicians and singers plus Charming Faces Face Painting to raise funds toward adoption fees.
We will have chili, toppings, desserts and soft drinks for you to enjoy.

Firefly meets to encourage people who have disabilities or who suffer from chronic illnesses. Firefly also includes and strives to help caregivers. We believe even the smallest firefly can light up the darkest cave just as the light of God, even in the darkest moments, continues to shine. This light gives us hope and strength to love others and to keep seeking God, regardless of the circumstances.
There's no cost to attend. Usually members bring their own lunches.
Everyday media pours news into our lives. It’s difficult to know what to believe. There is news that is so important, that each man’s soul depends on it. We want everyone to hear this important, good news, but why is it so hard to share the good news?
Come and join us, won’t you? Let’s join in grace together...for His sake and for those who desperately need to hear this good news.
We’ll explore why understanding the gospel is critical, uncover reasons why we’re hesitant to share the gospel, discuss four major components of the gospel, and other topics.
There's no cost to attend. Just bring a Bible and a pen.
