A Revolution of Love
Is there a secret to the fulfilled, dynamic and fruitful Christian life? Yes, there is! But this “secret” is really no secret at all. It’s on every page of the Bible and it’s clearly apparent in the life of Jesus. Yet many honest and sincere believers still have yet to discover this “secret” and experience its life- transforming power. It’s LOVE! It’s honest, pure, sacrificial love! Love must be the foundation, the motivation and the source of all that we are and all that we do, as followers of Jesus Christ. The apostle Paul, inspired by the Holy Spirit, even went so far as to say that without it, all we do would count for nothing!
Love is that “one thing” that Jesus told us the world would notice and know that we are His followers. It’s the one thing that Jesus said was the fulfillment of the whole law of God and the ultimate goal of all our instruction and obedience. And if ever there is ever going to be a desire for holiness and purity; if people are going to be won to Jesus and embark on a life-long spiritual journey with Him, our ability to experience and show Christian love is the KEY!
We’re convinced that this is the missing element that is needed more than anything else in God’s church today; more than any Christian “activity”. What we need is a “revolution of love” in our own hearts and in our churches. The goal is to love like Jesus loved.
