Discerning God’s Will

Does God really want us to understand and know His will? Why is it important that we know what His will is? How does He reveal His will to us? Does He have a specific will for me?

These are questions that we often want to ask, usually when we are faced with a difficult or perplexing situation and we long to have God speak straight to us and say “Pick this one!”. But discerning God’s will is not like looking into the tea leaves and mystically figuring out the answer to the question we’re facing.

Join us through January as we explore what God tells us about His will – we will be spending a few weeks looking into how God tells us about His general will (that which reflects His character), His will for the Church, and His will for us each as individuals.
