To some degree, all of us want our lives to count for something. We want our lives to count for something that’s meaningful and important. But often we find ourselves making choices that sacrifice the present, thinking that I’ve got plenty of time to get serious about God and His plan for me.
The Bible tells us very clearly that “time” is our most precious commodity. Once our time is used, it can’t be retrieved and relived. Once you spend it…it’s spent! And it’s how we use our time that determines the true impact and significance of our lives here on this earth.
All too often we choose to put off following Jesus thinking that we can always make that choice at a later date. God wants us to make that choice and live that life now! The apostle Paul told the church in Ephesus to “make the most of your time because the days are evil”. That’s so true…and it’s becoming more and more that way.
God has a purpose and a plan for the life of every believer. He wants us to be living that purpose and plan now, not later. If you want to know how God’s plan can relate to where you are today, we invite you to join us for our “Live Now!” series. This series will focus on those areas that give confidence, encouragement and the motivation to make that choice and begin to live the life God has called us to live.
He can be known. He can be experienced. He can be real and relevant in your life today.
