About Family Ministry

Our Family Ministry is committed to presenting God’s word to children while being Godly examples to those we teach. Our mission is to support parents as they train up their children in the knowledge and respect of God. We seek to provide a clean, safe environment for children. To help ensure the safety of the children, all of our adult staff undergo a professional background check.

Nursery Care

We provide responsible childcare so parents can worship in the main service free of distraction.

The upstairs nursery room is open for parents to use in caring for infants without volunteer support during the regular Sunday services.

Children 9 months – 3 years old are welcome to be checked into our downstairs nursery beginning at 9:15 a.m. There, they will have a chance to play, have snacks, and be cared for.

Each child in the Nursery is checked in either upstairs or when they are brought to the nursery. A parent will receive a text to the cell phone number given if the nursery staff needs them to come help their child. Parents will need to show their parent sticker when picking up their child.

Sunday School

On the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month, children Pre-K through 2nd-grade go downstairs for a lesson, craft, and game time. Currently, the children are learning ABC verses with a different letter every Sunday.

On the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month, children ages Pre-K through 5th grade have a Biblical teaching and discussion using the Answers in Genesis ABC curriculum. Our middle school students also have a class downstairs during this time, where they get to dig deeper into their faith.

Sunday school volunteers perform security check-in for children in the upstairs lobby starting at 9:15 am. Grades pre-k to 8th-grade worship in the sanctuary and will be dismissed to their classes following worship.

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.  You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.
